Hotels in Argentina
There are plenty af hotels in all categories, but no official rating system in Argentina. Guests will have to rely on either individual travel agencies own rating system, or ratings done by the hotels themselves.
If you want self catering accommodation, you can find holiday villas throughout the country. Along the Atlantic coastline there are some fabulous luxury villas with swimming pools, if you do not prefer the great beaches in this area. If you want to visit the Iguaca Falls you can also choose to stay in a rented luxury villa.
Many tourists head out into the rain forest and stay in holiday cottages and trek through the forest and grasslands in the north.
It is also possible to rent cheap self-catering apartments, with or without maid service, either by the day or week. Most apartments are in Buenos Aires, although they can be found in most bigger cities.
Bed and breakfast is available in small family hotels in Buenos Aires and other cities. Maid service is generally included in the price, but laundry service often requires a small extra charge.
Most resort cities welcome campers, and there are campsites and caravan sites throughout Argentina. Campervans can be hired.
There are youth hostels throughout Argentina, from Tilcaru in the north to El Calafate and Ushaia in the south.
Don't miss the chance to stay in one of Argentina's unique farm estates (Estancias) which offer a fasinating glimpse of rural life. Often luxurious, many have swimming pools and offer horseriding and other activities.
